ABOUT: Why ‘Super Bloom’? After an extremely rainy winter in my former home state of California — the talk of “super blooms” had me longing to see their beauty and had me thinking about what leads to a “super bloom”. When all the variables are just right, specifically a wet year that follows several dry years, a “super bloom” occurs. The wildflowers won’t germinate in dry years and will remain dormant in the soil until conditions are right. My series, ‘Super Bloom’ is a reminder to me, and to you, that everything we require to bloom fully is already within us, much like the wildflower seeds in the soil.
FRAMING: These collages are unframed. I display the collages in acrylic frames. These frames are available thru Wexel Art . The 19W x 23H frame works well with 15W x 20H collages. The collages also look great in a more traditional frame and mat. The examples shown are from Frame Bridge.
